prof. dr. Maja Zupančič (group leader), Filozofska fakulteta, Univerza v Ljubljani

is a full professor of developmental psychology at the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana, head of the Department of Developmental Psychology at the Department of Psychology, program group Applied Developmental Psychology and the Psychology field at ARRS. She teaches developmental psychology subjects to 1st and 2nd level students of the Psychology program and doctoral students of the Developmental Psychological Studies program. In recent years, she has mainly been researching separation-individuation, factors of psychosocial adaptation and the financial functioning of emerging adults in emerging adulthood. She collaborates with the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Vienna, with international teams at the Catholic University of Milan and with the team coordinated by the Psychological Institute in Wroclaw.

zasl. prof. dr. Ljubica Marjanovič Umek, Filozofska fakulteta, Univerza v Ljubljani
prof. dr. Zlatka Cugmas, Pedagoška fakulteta, Univerza v Mariboru

is a full professor of developmental psychology at the Faculty of Education of the University of Maribor. She teaches subjects related to developmental psychology to students of the 1st and 2nd levels of preschool education, classroom instruction, and inclusion in education. She also teaches a course at the 3rd level witin the Educational Sciences program. Scientifically, she mainly focuses on  the study of attachment in all developmental periods. In recent years, she has published a scientific monograph on multiple attachments, in which she emphasizes that an individual can be attached to living and inanimate objects, and a scientific monograph on imaginary objects of attachment, in which she emphasizes that individuals can also be attached to things that are only in our imaginations and may not actually exist at all. In the past, she scientifically dealt with the areas of self-image development, parental involvement in raising a child, the role of social networks for young people, etc.

prof. dr. Tina Kavčič, Zdravstvena fakulteta, Univerza v Ljubljani

at the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Ljubljana, she teaches subjects in the field of psychology for students of nursing, physiotherapy, midwifery, and other programs in the field of healthcare. She is also employed as a researcher at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Ljubljana. Her research focuses in particular on the development of fundamental personality characteristics and their role in various aspects of adaptation within different developmental periods, separation-individuation in emerging adulthood, and mental health in adulthood. She is a regional editor at Psychological Horizons.

prof. dr. Melita Puklek Levpušček, Filozofska fakulteta, Univerza v Ljubljani

is a full professor of educational psychology at the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana. She teaches pedagogical subjects to students of psychology and students of various pedagogical majors in the field of linguistics, social sciences, mathematics and natural sciences. Scientifically, she is engaged in the study of interpersonal relationships and problems in adolescents and emerging adults, as well as personality, social and motivational factors of academic performance.

Prof. dr. Urška Fekonja

is an associate professor of developmental psychology at the Department of Psychology at the Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana. Her areas of research primarily include early development and learning during the infant, toddler and early childhood periods, with an emphasis on the development of speech, play, early literacy and theory of mind. She examines early development and learning in connection with various promotive and risk factors, especially within the family as well as in kindergarten. She is the co-author of several developmental tests and rating scales for assessing children’s speech and early literacy, as well as the quality of the family environment and kindergarten.

izr. prof. dr. Gregor Sočan, Filozofska fakulteta, Univerza v Ljubljani

is an associate professor of psychological methodology at the Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana. Within the framework of the 1st and 2nd degree programs Psychology, Cognitive Science and Applied Statistics, and the 3rd degree programs Statistics and Humanities and Social Sciences, he teaches subjects in the field of psychometrics and applied statistics. His research interests include test scoring methods, assessment of reliability and measurement invariance, and the application of multivariate and psychometric methods in personality psychology, developmental psychology, health care, and elsewhere. He is a regional editor at Psychological Horizons and a member of the Methodological Council at SURS.

izr. prof. dr. Sara Tement, Filozofska fakulteta, Univerza v Mariboru

is an associate professor at the Department of Psychology, University of Maribor. She currently teaches industrial-organizational psychology and psychological methodology courses for bachelor, master and PhD students. She obtained her doctoral degree in work psychology from the University of Vienna. Her current research interests include work-family conflict, recovery from work, job demands and resources, and burnout. She published many scientific articles in international scientific outlets, holds lectures nationally and internationally and conducts employee training. Her research work on occupational stress has been sponsored by the Slovenian Research Agency and renowned international institutions such the Fulbright Scholar Program and the Austrian Academy of Sciences.

doc. dr. Alenka Gril, Pedagoški inštitut in Fakulteta za Socialno delo, Univerza v Ljubljani

she is a senior research associate and researcher at the Pedagogical Institute. She is an assistant professor in the fields of psychology (UM) and social work (UL), employed at the Faculty of Social Work of the University of Ljubljana, where she teaches courses that connect psychology with social work (SD) (Psychology for SD, Children’s Voice in SD, Psychological and inclusive topics in education, SD in emergency situations). Her research work is focused on the psychosocial and socio-cognitive development of children and adolescents in various social contexts (school, peer groups, youth organizations, local community, socio-political context). He studies the following topics: the development of social concepts in childhood and adolescence, political development, volunteering and social involvement of adolescents and young people in transition, participation of children and adolescents in school, intercultural relations in school; active lessons, learning motivation and attitudes towards knowledge in adolescents and emerging adults; e-learning in young adults; social integration of immigrant and Roma children. She is a regional editor at Psychological Horizons, a member of the Association of Slovenian Psychologists (DPS) and the European Association for Adolescence Research (EARA).

asist. dr. Kaja Hacin Beyazoglu, Filozofska fakulteta, Univerza v Ljubljani

she is an assistant at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Ljubljana and participates programs at the 1st and 2nd level Psychology and Cognitive Science. Her research involves the study of children’s development, specifically social-cognitive, meta-cognitive and speech development, as well as dynamic interactions between these areas. In addition to the fundamental influences of development, she also focuses on the influence that various social and societal factors have on the development of children in different contexts of their everyday life. She is the co-author of assessment tools for assessing children’s speech and early literacy and a member of the editorial board of Anthropos magazine.

asist. Timotej Glavač, mag. psih. (mladi raziskovalec), Filozofska fakulteta, Univerza v Ljubljani

is a young researcher at the Department of Psychology at the Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana. As part of the Applied Developmental Psychology program group, he studies the neurobiological foundations of psychological independence in emerging adults. Other areas of his research and interest include romantic relationships in emerging adults, as well as affective neuroscience in its relation to personality and mental health.
